부정대명사와 의문대명사!

 

 

<부정대명사의 용법>

 

1. one의 용법

 

1) 일반 사람을 나타내는 경우 

One should obey one's parents. 사람은 부모의 말을 따라야 한다. 

 

2) 앞에 나온 명사(a+명사)의 반복을 피하기 위해서 사용

If you need a pen, I will lend you one.

특정한 것을 가리킬 때는 it

 

3) no one은 단수로, none은 복수로

No one knows her name.

None of them know her name.

 

2. some과 any의 용법

 

some은 긍정문, any는 의문문, 부정문, 조건문(if절)에 쓰는 것이 원칙 

If you have any money, lend me some.

 

1) some 다음에 단수 보통명사가 오면 '어떤'의 뜻

I saw the flower in some house. 어떤 집에서

 

2) 권유하거나 긍정의 대답을 예상할 때는 의문문의 some 쓸 수 있다.

Will you have some milk? = Please have some milk.

 

3) any가 긍정문에 쓰이면 '어떤 ~라도'의 뜻

Any child can do a thing like that.

 

4) any는 부정문에서 주어로 쓸 수 없다.

Any of them can not do it. X

None of them can do it. O

 

 

3. other, others, another의 용법

 

1) 둘 중 하나는 one, 나머지 하나는 the other

 

2) 막연한 나머지는 others, 지정된 나머지는 the others

 

3) 단독으로 쓰인 others는 other people의 뜻

He likes to work for others.

다른 사람들을 위해

 

4) 한 개의 것을 말하고, 다른 한 개의 것을 말할 때는 another

I don't like this cap. Show me another.

 

4. each와 every의 용법 <모두 단수!>

 

Each of them has his own book.

Every member was present at the meeting.

 

*상호대명사 : each other(둘이서 서로), one another(셋 이상 서로) 엄격히 구별되지 않고 혼용된다.

We love each other. 

They help one another.

 

 

5. all과 both의 용법

all은 셋 이상인 경우, both는 둘인 경우에 쓰며, 복수로 취급하지만, 

all이 단수가 될 때도 있다. 

 

All of them are~

All is silent.

Both (of) the sisters are~

 

 

6. 부분부정과 전체부정

every, all, both와 not을 같이 쓰면 부분 부정이 된다. 

 

(부분부정) I don't know both of them. = I know one of them.

(전체부정) I don't know either of them. 

 

(부분부정) I did not meet all of them. 

(전체부정) I did not meet any of them.

 

 

<의문대명사의 용법>

Whose notebook is that? (소유격)

=Whose is that notebook? (소유대명사)

 

What is she? = What does she do? (직업이나 신분을 물을 때)
